As you all can imagine the pledge drive this semester has been pretty wild. Radio 1190 has had a hard time getting in all the pledges we need to stay up and running. As of today i see that we are still short 1,825 watts left! which equates to $18,250 – so it has been pretty rough. But on the plus side – given the kind of economic situation we are all in we still managed to collect 3,175 watts ($31,750)!! Which covers majority of what we need – so hopefully the manager has a back up plan 
(I’m kidding – i know he does, but it definitely was a close shave this semester).
So again, THANKS TO ALL THAT PLEDGED!!! the love goes out to everyone who pledged from 1 Watt to 24! I know its really hard for some of you to scrape up the amount – given the limitation we had of giving out just one cd per show. The cd this semester went out at a 5 watt level and i really thought that making it MP3 based would make most sense as you get more bang for your buck! So I did my best with the compilation and I’m sure you are all gonna love it.
Very soon I’ll start posting up all the podcasts again – the month of semptember included
- one week of the pledge drive (probably not fun listening to)
- one week with a mix set (which is really hard for me to give away on a podcast – i hope you understand)
- one week with a previously recorded mixset (same situation as above)

UPDATE:: We almost reached our goal – made 4200 watts / 5000
