May 1st show featured a whole line up of new sounds. We kicked the show off with BeeGee’s bhangra remix of their hit track – Staying Alive (1977) – remixed by UK’s finest bollywood mixmaster BallySagoo.
We then jump into a fresh bollywood soundtrack release done by India’s grammy award winning and top producers – AR Rahman. The name of the soundtrack Raavan and the production work done on the tracks are absolutely fresh, refreshing and is highly recommended a listen. Tracks that i’m digging right now – Ranjha Ranjha & Beera Beera. I know that in the course of the next few months as I listen to the soundtrack some more i’m gonna love the entire soundtrack!
April – BeatsFromTheEast Update!
Its has been a long time since our last update to BeatsFromTheEast.com! But we’re back and we’re bringing a whole round of updates that’s been missed during the last few months. During this time we had a chance to fit some travel to Dubai and connect with many djs and producers across the globe to bring in some more great music to BeatFromTheEast in the coming months. So we’re really excited about the shows in the coming months and we plan on keeping the blog posts regular!

Big news! We have one of South Asia’s top pop talent coming down to Denver at our next bollywood, bhangra & asian fusion club gig – Raghav! More details below:
The event is 18+ and will be held at City Hall, Denver. We’ll have a live dj set put on by the crew @ BeatsFromTheEast (Dj AshishB) and we’ll have Raghav jump in for a live performance! Date: May 7th and we’ll be live at 9PM. Tickets are on sale now $20.00 ($25 at the door). More on Raghav –> here …

Saturday November 8th
The show was split up in good sets of Bollywood and Bhangra blend with a nice chilled out vibe right at the end. People were digging the beats, enjoying the sunshine and prepping for the massive CU game going down. During the show I asked my listeners to send me an email with pictures/audio-clips/videos of what they were up to for the day and here is the one that stood out. Jeff Patterson in Boulder was locked in as he was assembling his Baja Support Vehicle! It takes in about 9 people, has a shower, kitchen and stores away the dirt bikes !!! Totally crazy and meant for a good few days worth of biking on dirt road trails! Cheers Jeff for sending this into us!
