May 1st show featured a whole line up of new sounds. We kicked the show off with BeeGee’s bhangra remix of their hit track – Staying Alive (1977) – remixed by UK’s finest bollywood mixmaster BallySagoo.
We then jump into a fresh bollywood soundtrack release done by India’s grammy award winning and top producers – AR Rahman. The name of the soundtrack Raavan and the production work done on the tracks are absolutely fresh, refreshing and is highly recommended a listen. Tracks that i’m digging right now – Ranjha Ranjha & Beera Beera. I know that in the course of the next few months as I listen to the soundtrack some more i’m gonna love the entire soundtrack!
April – BeatsFromTheEast Update!
Its has been a long time since our last update to BeatsFromTheEast.com! But we’re back and we’re bringing a whole round of updates that’s been missed during the last few months. During this time we had a chance to fit some travel to Dubai and connect with many djs and producers across the globe to bring in some more great music to BeatFromTheEast in the coming months. So we’re really excited about the shows in the coming months and we plan on keeping the blog posts regular!

Big news! We have one of South Asia’s top pop talent coming down to Denver at our next bollywood, bhangra & asian fusion club gig – Raghav! More details below:
The event is 18+ and will be held at City Hall, Denver. We’ll have a live dj set put on by the crew @ BeatsFromTheEast (Dj AshishB) and we’ll have Raghav jump in for a live performance! Happy new years all!! Hope that everyone got their Bollywood, Bhangra and Desi Fix over New Years Eve! I certainly did 
Hope that this year brings the best for you! With regards to music: this last year has been crazy — we've seen bhangra artists fusing into Bollywood, Bollywood playback singers & Djs from India jumping in on the Bhangra & Asian Fusion scene (a sound that was exclusive to the western side of the globe for many years). We've also seen a good amount new artists, genre shifting and new experimental sounds — so big expectations lined up for 2010! I'll continue to bring the hits as they keep comin!
