Christmas season has been keeping me and the crew here at the station real busy. But we are back with a crazy post.
2 weeks we featured a chilled out and a proper desi set coming out from one of our real good friend and DJ – Dj RYK! (myspace | facebook | twitter). Last month we featured him and his set that showcased some new bollywood bootleg remixes (incase you missed this check it out again – click here) and since then he’s been busy throwing down more mixes and this time taking us back to some retro hits from bollywood! We got a sneak peek into this in his last set as he ended with "Pag ghungroo" from a big bollywood blockbuster from the 80's "Namak Halaal" which was out in 1982. And now – we have an entire album dedicated to these old school bollywood hits title “Journeyer Vol2 – The Retro Edition”. The remix album brings in the fresh electro , house and progressive beats as well as some mashup madness on top of these retro hits!
