Recently we’ve been following a local producer / DJ based right here in Colorado. He goes by the name Hollidayrain and has been putting out a good variety of quality electronic, house and trance tracks. Anything from original production work to remixes done for other artists that have been released on official albums and have charted on XM’s BPM station (more on his soundcloud page). After listening in on some of his newer work and witnessing a live act he performed (midi controllers, bollywood samples and dope beats involved!) for a South Asian event that took place at the university – we were really impressed and wanted him to be involved with the show! …
We started our conversation and eventually got him to throwdown a mix for us. The track we picked out for him to remix “Tujhe Bhula Diya” from the bollywood soundtrack “Anjaana Anjaani” . The mix was done under a day and this is what he handed back to us….
